Block Workshop: Jacob’s Ladder (beginner)

Class Description: This block is traditionally made in two colors, but modern prints can transform it. Scraps can also be used. Whatever size and style you desire, Nancie will help you design your personal quilt.
Supplies:
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Ruler for cutting strips
- Half-Square Triangle ruler (Creative Grids CGTR45, Omnigrid #96, or others)
- Thread
- Bobbins, wound and ready to use
- Sewing machine in good working order, witha ¼” piecing foot and accessories
- Your usual sewing tools
Fabrics:
Fabric requirements will vary, depending on the size quilt you make. Rough estimates are listed in the Block Workshop handout. Ask to see the Idea Book for lots of design inspiration.
