Friday, June 16 10:30 - 2:30
In this class you will complete 2 of the 5 pouches in this pattern. You will be shown how to add a binding to give your pouches a special look, and how to install a By Annie zipper.
Zippered pouches in various sizes are used for storing and carrying make-up, sewing supplies, tech gear, and many other items. You may choose to quilt your fabric or leave it unquilted. Double slide zippers and grab tabs will be used for easy opening. You may add a swivel hook on the small pouch so it can be attached to your purse or tote.
When these pouches are empty, they nest in each other to save space.
PRE-WORK: MUST BE DONE BEFORE CLASS!
Equipment/supplies needed for class:
**When using double-sided fusible Bosal, place lining, wrong side up, then Bosal, then main fabric, right side up, lightly fuse making sure there are no wrinkles in the fabric. Using steam (it activates the adhesive) will help this process. Do not iron directly on the Bosal, it will melt and stick to your iron.
