Wild Rover Quilt Class (Confident Beginner to Intermediate)

Class Description:  This is a class for confident beginners and intermediate quilters. You will learn/refresh the techniques of Half-Square Triangles and Four Patches. I will also show you multiple techniques to help your sewing become easier.

Pattern: Wild Rover by Villa Rosa Designs (pick up at Honey Bee Quilt Store)

Class Prep:  

•       Use the fabric requirements from the pattern to choose your fabrics.   When cutting your fabric, instead of cutting a 9 7/8” strip cut it 10” or even 10 ¼”. From that strip cut a 10” or 10 ¼” square and a 9 ½” square. Then cut your 5” strip and subcut it into four 5” squares.
•       Cut your background squares into either 10” or 10 ¼” to match what you cut the earlier squares.
•       If this is confusing, you can wait until class to cut.

Supplies to bring to class:

•       Sewing machine in good working order
•       Thread
•       Rotary Cutter
•       Cutting Mat
•       6 ½” x 12 ½” Ruler
•       10 ½” x 10 ½” Ruler
•       Pins
•       Scissors/snips
•       Pencil or chalk marker
