2022 SWEET OR COLORWAY
5 @ the Hive is a 10-month block of the month program where you pay $15.41 that includes the February Block at sign up. The regular blocks are 12” finished. Extra Blocks, if you choose to do them, are $10.00 each, including tax. The Extra Blocks, over the 10 months, will be the 12” block borders and miscellaneous pieced blocks to fill in around the 12” blocks.
Sign-up Instructions *** READ CAREFULLY ***
- This class is for the SWEET colorway only. You will need to sign-up for the BUFF colorway separately due to software limitations. Please be sure to choose the same day and time for both colorways.
- Choose the day of the month you will attend each month (February through November).
- Feb 2nd (First Wednesday at 6 pm)
- Feb 4th (First Friday at 10 am)
- Feb 4th (First Friday at 11 am)
- Feb 5th (First Saturday at 10 am), then
- Then, Select CLASS ONLY for only the 12” Blocks, or
- Select CLASS + MATERIALS to register for the Extra Blocks ($10.00 per month).
- Class size is limited. Sign up early to get your preferred time.
Program Rules
- Sign-up by January 31st at Honey Bee or online and pay $15.41 per colorway, $10.00 Program fee and $5.41 for first block (tax included).
- Attend your first class (the day and time you chose for the entire year) and receive your first block (fabric and pattern).
- In March, you attend class on your chosen day and time, show us your completed February block, and you will get the 2nd block for free. In April, you will bring your completed March block, etc.
- Class consists of learning tricks for the next block, new products, and programs at Honey Bee Quilt Store, and door prizes.
- You must have your completed block each month and attend the meeting at your scheduled time, or you will need to pay $5.41 per colorway to get back into the program.
- Remember to come and pick up your block if you miss your scheduled class and make your block before the next class so that you are not charged again.
- You can pick up a friend’s block but, you must pay $5.41 for it since they are not in attendance for the meeting.
- If you do not pick up your block three months in a row you will be dropped from the Program.
STAY INFORMED: Sign up for Honey Bee Quilt Store emails and/or Facebook. News and information about 5 @ the Hive, including pattern errors, will be posted in both locations.
