Modern Improv Bootcamp

Want to explore the modern quilt world? This is a fun class with no rules, freedom from perfection, play with color and create something outside of the box! Use those fabric scraps! It is a great way to take traditional blocks and make them modern! We will use scraps…I hope you all have some!! It is a very creative class. Come and play! Be sure to bring your lunch!
Supplies:
- FABRIC SCRAPS: Bring solids, batiks, small prints Scrap fabric-prints and black/white
- (I will bring a bin of fabric for you to play with too)
- Sewing machine (be sure to bring your foot pedal and cords)
- Wound bobbins
- New sewing machine needle (for cottons) 80/12
- Gray thread
- Straight pins
- Ruler
- Rotary Cutter and Mat
- Scissors
- Seam ripper
- Pencil and pen and notepad
