You will learn techniques that will make paper piecing enjoyable and understandable. You will become familiar with the terms and how to figure out other patterns on your own. You will complete at least one black in class.
Required Book: Show Me How to Paper Piece, second edition by Carol Doke
Class Pre-work: Refer to page 11 for the cutting sizes. You can plan on making just one block or all 9, but we will work on one block in class.
The teacher will provide the copied pattern to sew on in class.

Requirements: | Sewing Machine -- Thread -- Wound Bobbins -- Open Toe Foot -- Small Lamp or clip-on light -- Small or Medium sized cutting mat -- Pressing pad -- Iron -- Rotary cutter (28mm is great for this size project) -- Scissors: paper and small machine snips -- Add-A-Quarter Ruler (6-inch) -- Sew Line Glue Stick -- Fine Line Sharpie -- Small ruler 2.5" x 6.5" or 4 x 8 (or similar) |
